Campaign Poo Poo

Campaign Poo Poo was a mock PSA competition to help young toddlers and parents through the challenging phase of potty training. I ran this project through my art direction class at the Vancouver Film School in the fall of 2006. Based on the children's book, "Everyone Poops" by Taro Gomi, the class was asked to create a 30 second spot for our ad campaign. The students worked in teams of 4-5 and were given less than seven weeks from concept to completion. My good friend and director George Samilski sat in to help direct the projects while I played the role of producer. It was a blast - thanks to class 57 for their hard work and dedication to the cause. Here are a couple of examples of the work from that project.

Enjoy.

The Poo Poo Song

The students who came up with this one went as far as to create and sing their own jingle. Be warned, this tune is catchy and may end up in your head for days.

Here's another animated spot from Campaign Poo Poo.
